The Toyota Sienna edges out the Chrysler Pacifica for performance. Its 3.5L V6 engine delivers 296 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque, compared to 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque for the Pacifica. Performance for the Sienna is further enhanced by its rigid body structure, Electronic Power Steering, and available sport-tuned suspension. While the Pacifica is not recommended to do any towing, the Sienna can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Also, unlike the Pacifica, the Sienna offers an available all-wheel drive system.

The new Sienna boasts a cavernous interior, with the ability to seat up to eight passengers, compared to the seven-passenger seating capacity for the Pacifica. Entering and exiting the Sienna for the 2nd-row and 3rd-row passengers is made easy with its available dual power sliding side doors. The Sienna offers more cargo space as well, with a maximum cargo capacity of 150 cu-ft, compared to 140.5 cu-ft for the Pacifica.
If you place a premium on safety, the Sienna is the better choice, especially with its plethora of standard driver assistance technologies.
