North Bay BMX is a USA BMX track located in Napa, CA. It is a 100% Volunteer Organization. Mission: To provide a fun, safe and first rate BMX facility for the community of Napa, CA and for all others that wish to visit.
The Napa Parks and Recreation Services Department provides a variety of recreation programs for members of our community including preschool aged children, youth, teens, adults, seniors, and individuals with special needs. Our activities include sports leagues and instruction, aquatics, day camps, and a diverse array of fun and educational classes. In addition, the Department is responsible for the operations and maintenance of a wide array of parks and recreation areas that includes trails, parks, public facilities, and urban forestry. Staff are responsible for park and facility rentals and assisting the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, Senior Advisory Commission, and the Tree Advisory Commission.
Provide support services and assistance to promote and improve the quality of life for individuals 60 years of age and older residing in Napa County.
Cope Family Center was founded in 1972 by a group of concerned parents after a child abuse related death. Linda Thomas led this group of dedicated volunteers, who envisioned all of Napa’s children growing up in safe, nurturing homes. Despite the changes in our community over the past 45 years, this vision is still significant and applicable today.
The Leaven works in partnership with members of the local community; including businesses, police and fire departments, local government, school administrators and teachers, church groups and concerned neighbors to bring after-school mentoring and tutoring programs as a revitalization tool to struggling neighborhoods where drop-out rates are out of control and gangs threaten the peace of the community.
The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Napa Valley features a 10K run, 5K run/walk, 1 mile walk, Kids' Superhero Dash for Dad, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Stick around for the family-friendly post-race celebration. Run/walk participants will receive tech shirts, free food and prizes, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer. ZERO is proud to partner with Daughters 4 Dads to end prostate cancer. The funds raised from ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Napa Valley are invested around the country to provide research for new treatments, free prostate cancer testing, and educate men and families about prostate cancer.
