Revitalized Tacoma Coming This October

Toyota Creates Crash Avoidance System

Every driver knows that heart-sinking, stomach turning feeling of both fear and relief from an "almost-accident." Unfortunately, many drivers also know the physical, mental and emotional trauma that comes with actually getting into an accident. For those of us who have been in an accident, we always second guess and ask ourselves the "what if" questions. Wouldn't it have been nice if your vehicle had steered you away from the accident and saved you?

All's been quiet on the Toyota front as far as newness is concerned, since early this spring. However, talk has resumed as the Japanese automaker moves steadfast toward resuming full operation levels.

In Japan last winter, Toyota unveiled the next-generation Yaris. However, due to the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, talk of when it might hit showroom floors was put on the back burner and has yet to be discussed.

Happily, Toyota is recuperating from the natural disasters. Eyeing the return to full production levels in the near future. Feeling renewed onward-and-upward momentum, Toyota has once again resurrected talk of the new Yaris.
